An Update From The Boss

Howdy folks! I hope that this finds you all well and that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

I wanted to take this time to thank each and every one of you that has expressed interest and encouragement in this venture. It has been 2 and a half years since I set out on this journey, and the end is almost in sight! With that said, I wanted to give everyone an update as to what you can expect to see in the very near future.

First, I now have everything I need to begin assembly of the first batch of watches. While this is exciting, it is also a daunting task. This is due to the fact that while I now have all of this product, and I have to put it all together. While it looks easy, it's no easy task.

Each watch takes about 2 to 3 hours to put together, and this does not include the lasering of parts, regulating the movement, QA and QC checks, as well as every other bit of attention to detail that goes in to making a watch. All told, the process can take up to 6 hours to complete...should everything run smoothly and according to plan.

Second, this is a one man operation. It's just me. There is no factory of workers that takes care of all this. Additionally, I am a man with a career and a family, and my time has to be split equally between the 3. With that said, I want to ensure that when I begin offering these watches, you will receive the very best I can produce. I do not settle for second best in anything, nor will I expect you to either.

Third, I am at the mercy of my income and supply chain. Once these initial watches go out the door, I do not have a bunch of stock on hand to produce more. When I set out to do this, I did so with the knowledge and plan that this would be done with absolutely zero debt. When watches sell, I will purchase more parts. When I purchase more parts, I will make more watches. It's just that simple. I do this not to make a million bucks, but to put out a good product at an honest price. With times being the way they are today, I want you to get your money's worth.

Lastly, I was hoping to have everything in line by now...and I am almost there. I know many of you wanted to get these for Christmas gifts or similar for yourself or loved ones. I am working very hard to make that happen, but I will produce nothing just for the sake of sending it out the door. Because, the last sentence of the previous paragraph. When they are ready, I will indeed let all of you know soonest.
